Born out of a download from God and a tender heart for widowed families, Loads of Love was founded to come alongside the church be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ by living out James 1:27 in a practical way ("Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.")

The first year after losing a spouse is often filled with overwhelming changes, difficult decisions, and daily responsibilities that suddenly feel much heavier. At Loads of Love, we believe grieving families shouldn't have to carry every burden alone. By providing free laundry support to young widowed families, we hope to lighten the load in a practical way so they can focus on healing, caring for their children, and taking one day at a time.

Grief affects every part of life, including the everyday tasks that never seem to stop. The laundry still piles up. The children still need clean clothes. The routines of life continue even when a heart is broken. Loads of Love exists because sometimes the greatest acts of kindness are the practical ones. A basket of clean laundry can be one less thing to worry about during an incredibly difficult season.

When a young family loses a spouse and parent, friends and neighbors often ask, "How can I help?" Loads of Love provides a simple answer. We transform everyday generosity into practical support by helping families with one of the most time-consuming household tasks. Because love looks like showing up, serving faithfully, and caring for people in ways that truly matter.
